Session #1: Nutrition and Healthy Eating with ADHD

Explore the role of nutrition in supporting brain health and managing ADHD symptoms.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

Session #2: Achieving Better Sleep When You Have ADHD

Examine the critical role of sleep hygiene in managing ADHD symptoms and overall health.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand how ADHD symptoms can affect sleep quality
- Identify common co-occurring sleep disorders and distinguish usual ADHD symptoms from signs of a possible sleep disorder
- Identify common sleep hygiene issues for people with ADHD and create an individualized framework for better sleep hygiene before going to bed
- Identify common sleep hygiene issues and create an individualized system to ease waking up and getting out of bed
Session #3: Chasing Dopamine Counts as Exercise
Presenter: Erik "Doc" Anderson
Focus on the unique experiences of physical activity with ADHD, addressing both challenges and strategies for success in consistent exercise.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand how ADHD symptoms can make it difficult to stay active and exercise consistently
- Identify common barriers to consistent exercise and techniques to combat those barriers
- Get back on track after missed days without becoming discouraged or abandoning progress
- Implement practical strategies to increase motivation and create a personalized strategy for exercise success
Session #4: Improving Personal Care Habits with ADHD
Presenters: Anita Robertson, LCSW and Carrie Comstock
Understand why hygiene is often difficult for individuals who have ADHD and how to overcome sensory and executive functioning difficulties around hygienic activities.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand how executive functioning challenges affect consistent hygiene practices
- Understand sensory challenges that may occur with ADHD and make hygiene difficult
- Identify tactics to adjust sensory stimuli to make hygiene more comfortable
- Implement short-term and long-term strategies to create more consistent hygiene practices
- Recognize signs that additional support is needed to overcome symptoms and know where to look for professional support
