Big emotions can make it hard to think clearly, stay grounded, or follow through on what matters most. In these moments, many people either try to shut emotions down completely or become overwhelmed by them. This workshop offers practical, evidence-based tools for navigating emotional highs and lows without losing yourself in the process. Participants will learn skills for noticing difficult emotions, calming the nervous system, responding instead of reacting, and staying connected to personal values even when emotions run high. Join CHADD of Bergen County in this workshop focused on building the ability to carry emotions more flexibly while continuing to move forward in a meaningful life.
