Being the One with ADHD in the Relationship

Hosted by CHADD of Seattle (WA)

Date: July 2, 2026

Time: 7:00pm–8:30pm PT (10pm ET/9pm CT/8pm MT)

Audience: Adults with ADHD

Most relationship advice for ADHD couples is written for the non-ADHD partner. If you are the one with ADHD, this presentation is for you. If you are the one who forgets things, misreads moments, and lies awake replaying what went wrong, while trying harder than anyone can see, join us. Join CHADD of Seattle as ADHD Coach, Braden Young, explores the shame loop, emotional dysregulation, and the gap between intention and impact. Braden speaks to the partner who is trying and struggling but rarely feeling seen for either. If you've ever felt like a burden to someone you love and want practical approaches that actually work for an ADHD brain, this event is for you.

Braden Young is a certified ADHD life coach, the founder of Empower ADHD Solutions, and a Men's ADHD Support Group board member. He is also co-host of DadDHD, a podcast where he and his co-host tackle the challenges of neurodivergent fatherhood. Diagnosed with ADHD at 36, Braden is a husband, father to a young son, and stepfather to an adult daughter.
