Session #2: Achieving Better Sleep When You Have ADHD
Presenter: Jeff Copper
Examine the critical role of sleep hygiene in managing ADHD symptoms and overall health.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand how ADHD symptoms can affect sleep quality
- Identify common co-occurring sleep disorders and distinguish usual ADHD symptoms from signs of a possible sleep disorder
- Identify common sleep hygiene issues for people with ADHD and create an individualized framework for better sleep hygiene before going to bed
- Identify common sleep hygiene issues and create an individualized system to ease waking up and getting out of bed
Jeff Copper is a cognitive engineer and ADHD coach, founder of DIG Coaching Practice, and host of Attention Talk Radio and Attention Talk Video. As an attention coach, he helps his clients understand how their minds work and solve problems with the mindset of an engineer and the power of life coaching. Using this methodology, he helps those impacted by ADHD achieve what they are capable of faster with less stress to create the productive environments they need to succeed. Copper holds an MBA from University of Tampa, professional designations from ICF and PAAC, certifications from ADD Coach Academy and Coaches Training Institute. He is a member of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association. ADHD Coaches Organization, Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Professional Association for ADHD Coaches, and International Coach Federation. He received ACO’s 2022 Professional Excellence Award.
